• Store Associate 

Company background:

Bombvinos, Inc. imports and distributes specialty and hand-crafted wines and spirits in the Philippines. The company works with some of the leading local bars and restaurants to introduce its unique products to the Philippine market, and also sells directly to customers through its website Bombvinos.com.

The company is venturing into retail operations with the opening of its first retail space in Salcedo Village, Makati City — with the ambition of many more stores to come. The company is looking for hard-working and ambitious professionals to help create new F&B experiences in Metro Manila.

The most promising candidates will be motivated to:

• Provide customers with superior service that makes them want to keep coming back; and
• Challenge the standards of local F&B and be willing to do things differently.

Overview:

A Store Associate is primarily responsible for engaging with customers and making sure they have a pleasant experience shopping for or enjoying food and drink in the space. A successful Store Associate will know how to welcome a customer, help them choose food and drink, and serve them when they dine in the space.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service
1. Establishing good rapport with customers and making them feel welcome
2. Helping customers choose food and drinks that best fit their needs
3. Serving food and drinks for dine-in with proper etiquette
2. Sales Administration
1. Understanding the different available food and drink offerings
2. Packing food and drinks for take-out/delivery according to company standards
3. Taking and processing dine-in and take-out payments
3. Space Management
1. Maintaining presentable and comfortable shopping and dining areas
2. Making sure all consumables (e.g. wine, drinking water, napkins) have ample stock
3. Creating regular sales and operations reports for management review
4. Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and co-workers

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience working in hospitality or customer service
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Basic math and accounting skills
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays
• Experience with wine and spirits is a plus

Specific work demands:

• Must be able to reliably report to work in Salcedo Village, Makati City 6 days a week
• Working days are from Tuesday to Sunday (days off on Monday)
• Operating hours will be 2PM to 10PM (may change in the future)
