FAQ

Natural Wine

+What qualifies a wine as natural?
Natural wine is made with organically grown grapes and minimal intervention in the cellar—no additives, no manipulation, often unfiltered.
+I’m new to natural wines. What’s a good place to start?
Light pét-nats or fresh reds are approachable entry points. Look for well-known producers who make balanced wines.
+How do I store the wines?
Keep them in a cool, dark place (10–15°C), bottles lying flat to keep the cork moist.
+What temperature should I serve them?
Whites at 8–12°C, reds slightly cooler than room temp (14–16°C).
+How long should they last after opening and re-corking?
Most last 2–4 days once opened. Keep them refrigerated and sealed.
+Are natural wines vegan?
Often yes, since many are made without animal fining agents. Always check with the producer to be sure.
+Do natural wines really contain zero sulfites?
Not truly zero. Grapes produce natural sulfites. Some winemakers add none, others add minimal for stability.
